Self-Care Awareness Month

September is Self-Care Awareness Month! There's no single definition of self-care, usually only described as a series of actions to improve your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Self-care can help you manage stress, lower your risk of illness, and increase your energy. Some examples of self-care include: 

  • Exercising
  • Eating healthy meals and hydrating
  • Sleeping
  • Enjoying relaxing activities
  • Focusing on positivity and gratitude
  • Connecting with friends and family
