What's on Reserve?

Students: be sure to ask your professors if they have put course textbooks or readings on reserve at the library.

Placing an Item on Reserve (Faculty/Staff)

Reserves items are designated for in-house Library use only and are held behind the library service desk.
  1. Check the Library Catalog to determine if we have the desired item.
  2. Fill out the Course Reserves form (link below) and a library staff member will contact you to confirm, and move the item to the shelf behind the circulation desk.
  3. If you are placing a personal item on reserve, fill out the form and skip the library call number question. Please bring the item to the circulation desk.
  4. If you have any questions regarding the course reserves process, contact the library at (908) 852-1400 ext. 2345.
*Items are removed from Reserves at the end of each semester. Please stop by for any personal copies.
The purpose of Course Reserves is to assist the teaching faculty by providing a service in which there is a controlled circulation of limited materials needed by students. Fill out the form below to request an item be placed on the Reserves shelf.
