Your Library Card

Your Centenary ID card is also your Library Card!


Use it to check out books, DVDs, and course reserves. Bring your items to the Library Service Desk. Staff will use your ID card to check these items out to you.

Student Borrowing Policy

Students may borrow:

  • Books for a period of up to 100 days or the end of the semester, whichever comes first
  • DVDs for a period of up to 30 days or the end of the semester, whichever comes first
You will receive an email from the library two days before an item is due. Renewal periods may vary depending upon the item type and the point during the semester the request is made

Note: Library loan periods vary based on the type of borrower and the type of item borrowed. The library staff may limit or extend lending of materials at its discretion.

To renew an item:

  • Call: 908.852.1400 x2345
  • Email: library@centenaryuniversity.edu

  • Access your Library Account:  opac.centenaryuniversity.edu
    • Username: Your Centenary ID name (smithm OR mary.smith)
    • Password: The last four digits of the barcode number on your ID card

Fines Policy

Taylor Memorial Library does not charge late fines on overdue books or DVDs. If you fail to return an item and TML declares it to be lost, a fee will be charged to the borrower and/or the responsible party will be asked to replace the item. Failure to return items may lead to the suspension of borrowing privileges.
