Your Library Card

Your Centenary ID card is also your Library Card!


Use it to check out books, DVDs, and course reserves. Bring your items to the Library Service Desk. Staff will use your ID card to check these items out to you.

Borrowing Policy

Taylor Memorial Library lends books for a period of two weeks and DVDs for a period of one week. You will receive an email from the library two days before an item is due. Renewal periods are two weeks, with most items having a max of two renewals. Note: The library staff may limit or extend lending of materials at its discretion.

To renew an item:

  • Call: 908.852.1400 x2345
  • Email: library@centenaryuniversity.edu

  • Access your Library Account:  opac.centenaryuniversity.edu
    • Username: Your Centenary ID name (smithm OR mary.smith)
    • Password: The last four digits of the barcode number on your ID card

Fines Policy

If Taylor Memorial Library declares an item to be lost, a fee will be charged to the borrower and/or the responsible party will be asked to replace the item. Failure to return items or pay fines may lead to the suspension of borrowing privileges and withholding of grades. Don't let library fines be the reason you don't graduate!

  • Overdue books: 10 cents/day
  • Overdue DVDs: $1.00/day
