Introduction to On-Demand Video

The Library has limited funds available to license curriculum-aligned streaming videos that we don't currently have access to. Keep in mind that for the library to lease access to an on-demand video for 1 year, the cost ranges from $75-$200. We will do our best to accommodate requests as our budget allows.

In most cases, our partner vendors operate on a 1-year lease model. After a lease expires, the library loses access to the film unless we renew the lease. If the library leases a video on your behalf, it will be your responsibility to follow up with us annually to request renewal (if the video is still needed).

On-demand streaming video requests may be made by Centenary instructors, for academic course use only. Students are encouraged to use the library's licensed collection, Academic Video Online, or any titles licensed by faculty specifically for their courses.
