SnopesOne of the longest running fact checking sites on the internet. A great source for determining the factuality of sources, especially images that are miscaptioned.

PolitifactA common and trusted source for political fact checking. You may have come across them with their creative meter to show the truthfulness of statements made by politicians and others.

OpenSecrets: Follow the money to determine who is influencing major society decisions. Open Secrets details the monetary amount donated by contributors including Political Action Committees (PACs), institutions, and industries to individual politicians.

FactcheckA project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania. Factcheck monitors speeches, interviews, and claims made by politicians.
