Taylor Memorial Library is proud to host an interactive exhibit from the Black Inventors Hall of Fame Museum from December 5th - December 15th. Presented across three distinct eras - Early Era (1700-1839), Golden Era (1870-1939), and Modern Era (1940-Present) - of African American inventions and innovation, the exhibit details the work of black scientists, engineers, and mathematicians whose contributions shape our daily lives today. Visit the library and discover inventors like Benjamin Banneker, Elijah McCoy, Gladys West, Jesse Russell, and Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green.
