Shirts for Survivors Event on Library Patio, Thursday April 11 at 7:30pm
Shirts for Survivors Event on Library Patio

Centenary University created the Clothesline Project to show its intolerance of violence and to stand in solidarity with survivors. What is the Clothesline Project?  The Clothesline Project is a visual display of violence statistics that often go ignored. Shirts are created by survivors of violence or by someone who has been affected by violence. They are then pinned to a clothesline to signify the “airing out of the dirty laundry,” which is violence. Sexual assault and abuse are a problem everywhere – even on college campuses.
Join the Office of Survivor Support & Violence Prevention (SSVP), the Domestic Abuse & Sexual Assault Crisis Center (DASACC) and the Counseling Center at Centenary University to create a shirt for a survivor, expand our Clothesline Project and help combat this issue.
