The Palace Project

"Libraries are palaces for the people. Introducing the Palace app, your newest e-reading experience. Access the library’s ebooks in one simple app. Enjoy thousands of free books from the Palace Bookshelf as well as exclusive titles only available to you in Palace." The Palace Project provides access to nearly 20,000 titles paid for by the state of New Jersey! If you are a New Jersey state resident you can access the collection by creating a free account which includes a digital library card by following the directions below. 

- Download the Palace Project App from the Apple Store or Google Play.

- Select the New Jersey State Library as your library when prompted.

- Click on Settings on the bottom task bar.

- Click on "libraries"

- Select New Jersey State Library

- Click on "Create A Card"

      -Enter your name and email. You may need to verify your location. This is to determine that you are within New Jersey.

- An email will be sent to you asking to confirm your registration.

- Your virtual library card will be included in the registration link.

- Use your virtual card to log in and start reading free eBooks!
